Submissions
We invite two types of submissions:
01
Full papers, extended abstracts or abstract
We invite submissions from all disciplines on all IP-related topics, with a focus on (1) the overarching theme of the conference or (2) other leading themes and topics, listed here.
Both theoretical/conceptual and empirical papers are welcome. We encourage original papers from, but not limited to the fields of law, economics, management, political sciences and engineering, particularly calling for interdisciplinary contributions.
The following submission formats are allowed:
– Abstracts (up to 350 words)
– Extended abstracts (up to 3000 words, footnotes included, bibliography excluded)
– Full papers (no word limit)
Please note that full papers will be privileged over extended abstracts, and extended abstracts will be privileged over abstracts.
The same system is used for uploading submissions regardless of their size and format.
Conditional on acceptance, as a general rule, presenters can present only one paper at the EPIP conference.
In the submission system, please indicate whether your submission is also eligible for
– the Young Scholar EPIP Award
– the PhD workshop
– any of the three special sessions
02
Proposal for themed sessions
Next to individual submission, we invite applications for a limited number of themed sessions on any relevant topic. Preference will be given to sessions addressing EPIP 2024 overarching theme or leading themes and topics.
You may submit either (a) closed session proposal that already identifies chair/organizer(s) and all speakers, or (b) session open to external submissions, where no or only some of the speakers are already identified, and you would like to host papers selected through the regular submission process.
Abstracts should be no longer than 350 words, while there is no word-limit for the proposal, which should also contain, if present, also the list of papers presented (indicating authors, title and abstracts).
If you are considering other types of submissions that might be of interest (e.g. industrial case studies, practitioner papers, workshops), please contact the organisers at submissions@epip2024.eu.
All submissions will be peer reviewed and must be made via the submission system that will be made accessible from the conference website (www.epip2024.eu).
